Thank you for supporting Hyde Away Coffee. We’re a small, home-based roastery located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, operating under Indiana cottage food laws. Because everything we roast is made fresh in small batches, we want to be clear about what to expect when purchasing from us.
Please take a moment to read through our terms before placing an order.
1. Freshly Roasted, Made to Order
At Hyde Away Coffee, each batch is roasted with care and packaged by hand. We do not keep large quantities of inventory.
This means your coffee is as fresh as possible when it reaches your door.
2. No Refunds or Returns
Due to the nature of our products,
we do not accept returns or offer refunds
. Coffee is a perishable item, and we cannot resell returned goods. All sales are final.
If there is an issue with your order — for example, if the wrong item was sent or your package was damaged in transit —
please reach out to us at [email protected] within 3 days of delivery.
We will do our best to make it right, within reasonable limits.
3. Shipping & Delivery
Orders are processed in the order they are received. Please allow up to 3-5 for roasting and fulfillment.
Shipping times will vary based on your location and chosen shipping method.
We are not responsible for delays caused by the postal service, nor for packages marked as “delivered” that are lost or stolen.
That said, if you run into an issue, reach out and we’ll see how we can help.
4. Cottage Food Law Compliance
All of our coffee is roasted and packaged in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the Department of Health, in accordance with Indiana’s cottage food laws.
We clearly label each bag with all required information.
5. Use of Website
By using our website and placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without notice. Continued use of our website following any changes means you accept those changes.
6. Text Messaging & Communication
By placing an order or signing up through our website, you agree to receive text messages from Hyde Away Coffee via our toll-free number.
These messages may include order updates, delivery information, customer care responses, and the occasional marketing message to keep you in the loop about new offerings or special releases.
We promise not to spam you — just the good stuff, and only when it matters.
You can opt out of marketing texts at any time by replying STOP. However, transactional messages related to your orders may still be sent as needed to ensure you get your coffee safely and smoothly.
